Healthcare

At Nido we take the health of the students in the building seriously. Nido is a smoke-free environment, as is anywhere indoors in the UK. We also have Resident Assistants who are live-in students responsible for looking out for the students on their floors, and this includes taking residents to the hospital should they need assistance to get there. They are also trained in first aid to assist with minor injuries. Fitness is also something we recommend as an ultimate stress buster - the Nido Fitness Centre is on-site, high-tech and available for all students to use for free after a £10 induction fee.
It is extremely important for full year students to register with a local Doctor (GP), as soon as they arrive. Students in London less than 3 months are ineligible to register with a GP but there are a variety of Medical Centres we can direct you to. Do not wait until you are unwell as it may not be possible to be seen immediately if you are not registered. Below we have listed a selection of medical services close to Nido King’s Cross.
