Nido is a great environment and students' well-being is our absolute priority. That’s why we want to make sure that our residents are happy living at Nido.
Twice a year, we carry out a Student Satisfaction Survey to know how our residents experience life at Nido. 100 residents from Nido Notting Hill were willing to contribute to our last survey, held in November 2011. This is what they had to say.
Our residents listed various reasons for choosing Nido, here are the top three:
- Location in London
- Quality of the accommodation
- Students felt they would be safe and well looked after
Residents at Nido Notting Hill rate many aspects of the building highly. Most important are security, rated at 94% and cleanliness 90%! Students also gave high ratings for most of Nido’s services and facilities such as room maintenance 88%, front desk 86% and cleaning facilities 77% - 82%.
At least 81% of our residents said that Nido was exactly what they had expected and even better! So we are very proud to conclude that our residents are happy and that 87% would recommend Nido to a friend!
To have a better idea of the demographics within Nido Notting Hill, we can tell you that 61% of our students are female and 39% are male. This illustrates a fairly even split between genders.
The Nido population is very international with 54 nationalities living in the building and 85% of our residents being non-British.
The residents were surveyed by a third party company so their comments were given anonymously. Here are some reasons why they think Nido is better than expected:
'I've made a lot of friends and the staff are really friendly.'
'The rooms are bigger than I thought and the services are much better.'
'It’s close to my school and it’s better than other accommodation options.'
'I’m really happy with my room. Good security, maintenance and location. Staff are more than helpful.'
'I like the atmosphere, the staff, the gym and the area.'
'I feel safe here. There are lots of activities. I'm close to shops and pubs.'
'The common area is clean. The atmosphere is conducive for students. It’s a great place to live.'
