Nido is a great environment and students' well-being is our absolute priority. That’s why we want to make sure that our residents are happy living at Nido.
Twice a year, we carry out a Student Satisfaction Survey to know how our residents experience life at Nido. 300 residents from Nido Spitalfields were willing to contribute to our last survey, held in December 2011. This is what they had to say.
Our residents listed various reasons for choosing Nido, here are the top three:
- Location in London
- Quality of the accommodation
- Students felt they would be safe and secure
Residents at Nido Spitalfields rate many aspects of the building highly. Most important are security, rated at 91% and cleanliness 86%! Students also gave high ratings for most of Nido’s services and facilities such as room maintenance 80%, communal areas 82% and social events/activites 79%.
At least 82% of our residents said that Nido was exactly what they had expected and even better! So we are very proud to conclude that our residents are happy and that 89% would recommend Nido to a friend!
To have a better idea of the demographics within Nido Spitalfields, we can tell you that 60% of our students are female and 40% are male. This illustrates a fairly even split between genders.
The Nido population is very international with 86 nationalities living in the building, 93% of those interviewed are non-British.
The residents were surveyed by a third party company so their comments were given anonymously. Here are some reasons why they think Nido is better than expected:
'I’ve made a lot of friends and the staff are really friendly.'
'The room was much bigger than I thought. It’s in a great location.'
'The atmosphere is good. It’s conducive to making new friends.'
'It’s close to school. It’s better than other accommodation.'
'I’m really happy with my room. Good security, maintenance and location. Staff more than helpful.'
